In my earliest memories as a child, I can still recall my father giving us pencils and crayons to draw and paint whatever sparked our curiosity. Till this day my father still has folders of all of our drawings. Growing up in a family of artists, I’ve always felt the weight and importance of properly representing artists so they can focus on creating. Artists need that space where they can devote themselves to their craft, yet feel confident that the business is thriving.

This belief influenced my career path as a majority of my professional career has been in the art business. Over the past 20 years I have represented a variety of local, national, and international artists, including my father, across the country and abroad. In working with these professional artists, I have always taken the time to understand and respect their individual techniques, style, and passion they have for their craft. Combined with operating several art galleries, I have also honed my sales and business sense which has culminated in the recent opening of my own gallery to represent my father and several other local community artists.

Within the last 15 plus years, I've also had incredible artistic opportunities working with my father on commercial projects ranging from murals, and public art installations. These experiences bridged my understanding between the design process and generating my own body of work, allowing me the opportunity to get back to my roots and into painting and design. Being born and raised in Hawaii, I’ve always appreciated the vibrancy of colors and intricacies of nature. Watercolor currently gives me that window to create bold and vibrant artwork. I feel my artwork is an extension of my career and life being raised in the culture of Hawaii.
